STUDENT CANCELLATION, WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY

Student’s Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your enrollment agreement and obtain a refund of charges paid through attendance at the first class session, or the seventh calendar day after enrollment, whichever is later.

Written notice of cancellation may be delivered in person, by mail, or by email to:

If timely cancellation occurs, Big Daddi Trucking LLC will refund 100% of institutional charges paid, less a reasonable application/registration fee not exceeding $250, except to the extent applicable law requires that fee or another amount to be refunded. Any Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) assessment will be refunded when a 100% refund is required.

Refunds will be made within 45 calendar days after cancellation and documented in the student’s record.

Withdrawal and Pro-Rata Refund

After the cancellation period, a student may withdraw by providing written notice in person, by mail, or by email to the School Director at the address or email listed above. Student withdrawal is effective no later than the date the institution receives the notice.

Big Daddi Trucking LLC may withdraw a student by written notice for conduct, safety, academic/attendance, or other grounds stated in the School Catalog. Five consecutive scheduled class days of absence without an approved Leave of Absence or other approved arrangement may result in administrative withdrawal. For a withdrawal based on lack of attendance, the withdrawal date is the student’s last date of attendance.

A student who withdraws or is withdrawn after the cancellation period and has completed 60% or less of the period of attendance is entitled to the applicable pro-rata refund.

The refund is calculated as the amount paid minus the hourly tuition charge for the program multiplied by the hours attended, minus any lawful non-refundable charges. Scheduled hours before the last date of attendance for which the student was absent will be included in the attended-hours calculation when required by applicable California law and regulation.

Any credit balance or refund due will be paid within 45 calendar days and documented in the student’s record.

Distance Education / Online Theory

For applicable asynchronous CDL PowerSuite theory instruction, Big Daddi Trucking LLC will transmit the first lesson and any materials within seven days after accepting the student for admission. Before receiving the first lesson and materials, the student may cancel and receive a full refund. Cancellation is effective on the date the written notice is sent.

If the first lesson or materials were sent before an effective cancellation notice was received, any applicable refund will be made within 45 days after return of the materials.

If a student has fully paid for the educational program and, after receiving the first lesson and initial materials, requests in writing that all remaining lessons and materials be sent, Big Daddi Trucking LLC will transmit them. If the remaining lessons and materials are transmitted at the student’s request, Big Daddi Trucking LLC remains obligated to provide the other educational services agreed to, but no refund is required after all lessons and materials have been transmitted, as provided by applicable California law and regulation.
